Experience
Committed to providing a kind, caring environment, Dr. Reinitz always takes the time to thoroughly discuss all treatment plan options with both new and existing patients in order to assist them in making educated decisions toward optimal oral health. Whether it's making care calls to his patients after surgery or restoring beautiful smiles through endodontic treatments, Dr. Reinitz offers comprehensive care in one place, with one appointment. Dental Care of Pearland provides not only local anesthetic but also oral sedation and Nitrous oxide for comfortable patient experiences. Having over 36 years of experience restoring dental implants, Dr. Reinitz works closely with his oral surgeons to ensure accuracy and precision in dental implant placement to create the ideal outcome each patient desires and deserves.
Dr. Reinitz obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in Biochemistry in 1978. In 1982 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Howard University and then went on to complete a general residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics (advanced training in crowns, partial dentures, full dentures, and implants) in 1985. He has been in full-time private practice in the southeast Houston area since 1986.
Although Dr. Reinitz has had advanced training in Prosthodontics, he has also taken extensive continuing education which permits him to offer his patients a wide range of services and treat children and adults. Dr. Reinitz annually takes over thirty hours of continuing education (which is nearly three times the legal requirements) which permits him to keep up with the rapid changes in both medicine and dentistry.
